Cats

O'Keeffe, my cat so named for one of my favourite artists because her fur reminded me of the artist's paintings of New Mexico (people who are only familiar with her large florals inevitably ask me what about O'Keeffe's work made me associate the cat with it), is a fluffy orange and white part-Main Coon, and is litter sisters with our other cat, Cassatt. They both look just like the stereotype of a Main Coon with the tail and hair in the ears and paws, but in terms of size are only just on the larger end for a regular female cat.

O'Keeffe is our resident mouse catcher, she's very swift and clever, always brings them to us. She's incredibly laid back, too, but one of the talkier cats I've ever had. We call her a lap whore, she loves to be loved on and will wriggle happily all over you. Unlike the other cats, she's really no one specifically - she loves everyone equally and indiscriminately.
